8 of 10 people found the following review helpful Soaks up your equipment...... and water, July 28, 2011 By J.B (New Jersey) - See all my reviews This review is from: Osprey Argon 85 Backpack (Sports) I just completed a one week mountain trekking in Norway. I feel that I really got to test this backpack in some fairly rough conditions to see what this pack is really made of.
I have to say that it is impressive what this pack will swallow. I am pretty sure that if I had tried hard enough, it would have taken my kitchen sink too. All the compression straps are also helpful to keep everything in place once you are done loading it up.
One annoying negative with this pack is the water bottle side pocket. It will fit your 40 oz Nalgene water bottle but once the pack is on your back the pocket is no longer reachable. The only two solutions you have are to either take off your pack each time your thirst strike you or purchase the hydration pack.

We started the trip in late April and... Read more
2 of 3 people found the following review helpful Great Backpack, January 11, 2011 This review is from: Osprey Argon 85 Backpack (Sports) I bought this backpack about two years ago for our trip to Switzerland. I have a day pack for weekend backpacking trips, but I needed something more comfortable for moving around in Europe. This backpack is very comfortable and had the right fitting and customized hip belt. I would highly recommend this backpack. I have not used this backpack for any weekend trips, but hopefully I will sometime in the future.
